Remuneration: £70,000 - £75,000 + 30% bonus

The role of the Technical Manager - Reinforced Steel will involve:

- Technical Manager position promoting a high quality range of reinforced steel
- Managing multiple projects within the technical team
- Provide highly considered solutions to clients to exhibit time savings, cost savings and safety benefits at tender and project phase
- Interpret data and specifications to enable you to prepare accurate models / drawings
- Produce pricing and drawing production estimates
- Managing projects from tender stage throughout detailed design, production scheduling and prefabrication delivery
- Producing designs to the highest quality on time and within budget
- Act as the first point of contact for clients with technical queries
- Prioritise work load in accordance to clients site programme
- Develop and maintain working relations with clients to encourage repeat business
- Constantly monitor market activity / competitors to identify strengths and weaknesses
- Attending sales meetings and offering technical advice and input

The ideal applicant will be Technical Manager - Reinforced Steel with:

- Must have a strong civil / structural engineering background
- Experienced in reinforced concrete detailing
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks & Powerpoint
- Able to produce 3D concrete models
- Sound understanding of BIM
- Must have a sound understanding of the construction industry and methodology
- Understanding of temporary works design in relation to prefabrication
- Be able to accurately interpret Engineers drawings and calculations
- Ideally have an accredited degree in civil / structural engineering degree
- Must have excellent communication skills written and verbal
- Personable, team player, problem solver, driven and enthusiastic
