Planning/enforcement Assistant

We’re seeking to recruit two Assistant Planning Officers with both positions being Limited Term Appointments for **12 months**, one covering Maternity leave and the other position having the potential to be extended for a further 12 months
**About the role and our team**
Within this role, you will contribute to our ambitious programme for the Isle of Man Government, to ensure planning helps to drive sustainable economic growth, respond to changing population pressures and keep the Island a special place to live and work.
You will assist in facilitating the effective service delivery of within the Planning Team, ensuring compliance with legislation and policy.
We are looking for someone with an eye for detail, great interpersonal skills, with excellent time management skills and the ability to appreciate the long term vision of the work you’re doing. As well as developing and maintaining good working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and customers.
You will be part of our small, supportive team who enjoy sharing ideas and knowledge with each other.
