**About the role and our team**
Join our Law Enforcement team as an Administrative Officer within the Customs and Excise Division for Treasury
Within this role, you will participate in a wide range of preventive duties which are used to enforce customs and excise regulations. Many of these duties are conducted away from the office and work takes place outside of normal working hours by arrangement. You may also assist with serious and complex investigation cases.
You’ll be part of a small and enthusiastic team that is developing and continuing to improve and have the opportunity to work with other Government departments. No day is the same in this fast-paced role.
This is an exciting developing role; the overall plan is to create a stronger and safer border for the Isle of Man and you will be part of that development as part of a strong functional team.
**What can this role offer me?**
This role operates a shift pattern which you’ll receive a 20% shift allowance.

**Additional information**
Please note a Standard police check is required for this post, which the Department will cover the cost of for you. Please note if you have lived for more than 6 months outside of the UK in the last 5 years, you will be required to obtain a Letter of Good Standing from the appropriate authorities in the relevant locations, please read the guidance about how to obtain this letter.
A full valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required for this role. A uniform will also be provided.
A relocation package and interview expenses are not available for this role.
