**About us**:
Currently UCL Geography has almost 50 Academic and Teaching staff, approximately 20 postdoctoral researchers, and 24 professional services staff. The Department also hosts scholars from across the world visiting the Department to pursue their research. The variety of backgrounds, experience, ages and nationalities, as well as the vast array of resources and facilities at UCL and throughout London, ensures a rewarding, stimulating and varied student experience.

The Department has a long and distinguished tradition of top-quality cross and interdisciplinary research with social scientists, climate modellers, data scientists, urbanists, environmental scientists and geoscientists all working on a huge variety of projects across the domains of Environment, Resources, Heritage, Social Science.

**About the role**:
The Department has a vacancy for a Teaching & Learning Administrator to work in collaboration with Department Tutors, Programme Convenors, Teaching & Learning Managers and Department Manager in delivering a high quality administrative and student experience service to UG students specifically.

Although support to UG programmes and students is key to the role, it is not exclusively focused on these and the post holder will be expected to work as a member of the Department's professional services team to support the Department’s full range of teaching and events throughout the year.

**About you**:
You will have experience of providing a support service to students or to customers, in an environment where you responded proactively and appropriately to the needs of others. Experience of administration within a Higher Education Institution or in a similar role in education working with advanced learners is desirable, but not essential.
