We are looking for a friendly and organised part-time receptionist to join our veterinary travel clinic based in New Malden (South West London) from mid/late February.

Our clinic specialises in issuing certificates and travel documents for pets going abroad, ensuring their journeys are smooth and stress-free. You’ll play a key role in providing exceptional service to pet owners while supporting the clinic's day-to-day operations.

**About the Role**

This is a part-time role, working core hours throughout the year of Mondays (9am-2pm) and Wednesdays (9am-2pm),with flexibility to take on additional hours on Mondays - Fridays during our busier periods (May-September and December).

This role is ideal for someone who can adapt to varying schedules and is happy to support the clinic during peak seasons.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Warmly welcoming pet owners and their pets to the clinic.
- Assisting vets with preparing, printing, and organising travel documents.
- Processing payments and updating client records on our IT system.
- Proactively contacting clients to confirm they’ve completed the required documentation before their appointments.
- Maintaining and re-stocking our small retail area.
- Supporting the team with general administrative tasks.
- Performing light cleaning duties, such as hoovering and mopping at the end of each day.

**Experience and skills we are looking for**:

- **Strong communication and organisational skills**: You’ll often work independently with just the vet(s) on-site, so being proactive and organised is essential.
- **Receptionist or customer service experience**: Ideally in a veterinary, dental, or GP practice, though this is not essential.
- A love for working with animals and their owners, delivering exceptional care and service.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £6,500.00-£13,000.00 per year
