Internal Communications and Change Executive

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Internal Communication and Change Executive to join our busy marketing function. This role sits within the Communications Team, supporting the delivery of an integrated internal and change communications strategy.

**Main purpose and goals**

You’ll play an essential part in ensuring Associates across Linnaeus feel connected and valued. From gathering and sharing news for our intranet and internal newsletter to creating fresh and engaging content for our change projects, you’ll be working right at the organisation's heart, helping us make A BETTER WORLD FOR PETS.

As an organisation we are embracing hybrid working and the contractual base for this role will be out of our central support office in Solihull. Applicants should be aware that there is an expectation that employees will attend the office as required for their role.

**Key responsibilities**
- Produce excellent engaging and written copy, have strong attention to detail and be able to work autonomously.
- Manage and organise a budget to support the rollout of project communications.
- Support the Senior Communications Manager with change projects from Project Management Office and the wider Mars business.
- Pull together regular training materials to support projects and lead them to successful launches and adoption across the group.
- Help to manage project events by creating and sending calendar invites and working on setting up streaming, recording, interactivity, question management etc.
- Coordinate communication packs as required to ensure information is delivered in a timely manner.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure there is a joined-up approach across every project, driving first-class briefs that help us achieve key communication and organisational outcomes so we can deliver our mission of A BETTER WORLD FOR PETS.
- Working closely with all parts of the central support team and supporting alignment with the overall business strategy.
- Developing and delivering communications plans for engagement initiatives, both proactively and reactively as set out within the strategy and reactively as they arise.
- Contribute to the content plan as needed by writing engagement-led articles.
- Drive standards and compliance of all internal communications from across the business and maintain great internal relationships with stakeholders within the group across the brands and locations to facilitate the effective coordination of internal communications activity.
- Be a team player and provide general support to the Communications Team on additional activities as and when required.
