We are looking to appoint an exceptional person to support Dr Catrin Moore, Reader in Global Health and Infectious Diseases, on the Comparison of community and hospital Antibiotic use practices, Susceptibility and resisTance and determinants of care seeking among patients with Urinary Tract Infections (CAST-UTI) study and with the Fleming Fund Fellows in Eswatini with data management, together with sequencing bacteria in the laboratory.

Key attributes of the successful applicant include:

- Experience with REDCap: setting up databases
- Experience of working in a healthcare setting, medical research or scientific policy environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of working with bacteria in a laboratory
- Ability to cope with a heavy and multi-stranded workload and to support others in doing so
- Accurate worker and high attention to detail including when under pressure
- High level of prioritisation and organisation to manage a high volume of work and priorities effectively
- Strong organisational, time-management and communication skills
- Enthusiasm and personal initiative to solve problems, a self-starter with ability to work unsupervised
