**Soccerstarts Football Academy**

**Require an Football Coach to work with children ranging from Toddlers to 12 year olds working under the guidance and direction of Head Coach Bryan Robertson. Bryan has over 20 years’ experience as a football coach working with various ages of children.**

**Regular hours available on our Coaching Rota**:
**Coaches will be part of the Coaching Rota from as soon as possible.**

**How the rota works will be discussed in more detail at during shortlisting and interview stages.**

**Who we are looking for to fill the Children's Football Coach role**

The person has to be someone with the potential and desire to grow into the role with the right personality for working with children, strong work experience in a paid and unpaid capacity.

**For Your Information**

As well as receiving payment for your all your time working as a Children's Football coach from the time you arrive at venue to set up and including tidying up time at end of sessions, you will also receive holiday pay in line with the hours you work and we will support your development as a coach. (discussed more during shortlisting and interview process)

The most important responsibility/ duty of the role is bringing your energetic personality and enthusiasm weekly to encourage/ support/ coach children and parents as well as supporting our lead coach deliver great sessions to children in the Edinburgh and Musselburgh area with various other activities essential to the smooth running of the sessions across the day such as set up, lifting and laying equipment, handing out equipment, cleaning, taking registers, answering queries, tidy up etc.

- You will be also be required to provide at least 3 people that can be contacted for personal or work references if you are invited for interview.
- You will be required to go through a PVG scheme check via Disclosure Scotland if offered a position with Soccerstarts Football Academy (as mentioned above)
- You will be required to have a passion for learning/self development and taking responsibility for your own development as a Football Coach.
