Are you an experienced Nights Warehouse Supervisor looking for a fresh new challenge to join a leading 3PL distribution business? Paying an attractive salary of £34,177 (including shift allowance) working on a 4 on 4 off basis this role works with an establishedteam
Reporting to the Site Manager your duties will include;
Supervisor Responsibilities
- Supervise the Warehouse Operation with direct responsibility for a team of people.
- Supervise all resource requirements (to include, but not limited to people, machinery, systems, consumables) within allocated department.
- Own, set and meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) on a continuous basis as set by the operations Management team, and in line with Company and Client requirements.
- Develop and maintain effective collaboration across all teams and/or shifts within the Warehouse Operation.
- Monitoring SLA performance for compliance with organizational needs and requirements.
- Plan the operation to meet all internal and external KPIs, to ensure client expectations are met in conjunction with the resource planner.
- Achieve targets set by Operations management team in relation to indirect hours and costs.
- Manage and maintain the T&A system.
- Supervise allocated department(s) ensuring business needs are achieved.
- Maintain reports for Operations Managers as required and ensure effective handover between shifts.
- Continually review processes and systems to ensure operational needs are always achieved and quality maximised.
- Ensure the team within the Warehouse operation have the required skills, knowledge, and resources to achieve and maintain business requirements.
- Alongside the Training Coordinator plan, co-ordinate and continually monitor training and training requirements to ensure a cross client warehouse culture.
- Set targets and goals as agreed in conjunction with Operations Management Team for area of responsibility and continually monitor and review performance.
- Manage development and performance of team through 121's and PDP's.
- Supervise and assist in projects as required by Operations Management team.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are always adhered to.
- Monitor the training matrix and create training plans for team. Health & Safety
- To adhere and drive all H&S responsibilities as outlined in company policy and procedures.
- Provide effective communication within the operation relating to operational and Health & Safety issues as required.
Working 4 on 4 off 18:00pm - 06:00am shift pattern paying an attractive salary of £34,177.
