**About the Inventory Lead job**

We have an exciting opportunity for a hands on, detail oriented Inventory Lead to join our new team in Derby A role that will challenge you but also allow you the freedom to make decisions in the management of a product range that changes weekly and the challenges that come with this.

**What the Inventory Lead will be doing**:

- Manages staff and activities related to maintaining proper levels of stock or inventory
- Ensures compliance with established policies and procedures. Verifies, reviews, and approves large invoices
- Monitors and investigates inventory discrepancies. Implements loss prevention procedures and practices
- Manages inventory staff: participates in interviewing; hiring, and training and development of associates
- Coordinate, track and provide analysis regarding damaged and returned material
- Maintains a highly motivated workforce by timely communications, displaying an attitude of consistency and fairness, focused recognition for good work and ideas, etc.
- Develop and provide key performance metrics and countermeasures on a regular basis to all levels of the organization
- To be the point of escalation for the Inventory Co-ordinators and wider Inventory Team
- Support with the Goods In and Goods out planning daily with a view to improve this.
- Support with Supplier management to ensure product arrival aligns with Production
- Support in the generation of Operational critical documents that allow movement of stock around the site
- Reacting to changes and problem solving quickly and effectively to minimise disruption
- Reviewing current ways of working to improve and keep up with the ever-changing operation at Hellofresh

**Who the Inventory Lead is**:

- Previous management experience
- Experience working in FMCG/ Food production role - favourable
- Intermediate level of Excel use
- Knowledge and experience of SQDCP and Google sheets/excel
- Ability to effectively problem solve in a time pressured environment
- Able to show examples of managing a high performance team
- Is a natural self-starter, who is able to manage their own time
- Someone who is driven to go above and beyond
- Someone who can breakdown a problem, understand the root cause and implement a solution that addresses these root causes
- Strong communication skills
- Energy, enthusiasm, commitment and a can-do flexible attitude
- Embraces change and challenges
