Day Centre Support Worker

Dean Healthcare are looking for experienced, committed Day Support Workers to help support service users at a Day Centre in Fishponds. You will be supporting service users on a 1:1 basis who have Learning disabilities including autism and complex needs and may present challenging behaviour.

You will support the service users with a range of leisure and recreational activities, including cinema trips, gym, cooking, independent living skills, pub lunch and disco.

The shifts are from 9.30 to 3.30 Monday to Friday and are available each week - continuity of care is paramount for the people we support, allowing to you build and maintain meaningful relationships.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of **6 months** experience within the health and social care sector
- An imaginative and innovative approach to care
- Experience with Learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.

**Benefits**
- £10.50 per hour
- Weekly pay
- Hourly accrued holiday pay in addition to the hourly rate
- **Free** mandatory training
- **Free **specialist training courses to help with career progression
- On-call support team available 24 hours a day 365 days a year

**Salary**: £10.50-£11.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

- Bristol, BS5 6PX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
