'**Hire Desk Sales Advisor (Telesales) Houghton Regis, Beds** Due to our continuous growth and success, we are looking to expand our Sales team based at our new modern offices in Houghton Regis. **Responsibilities**: - Negotiating and converting hire enquiries into orders - Using sales techniques to maximise cross-selling opportunities - Identifying and interpreting the best access solution for customers' requirements - Reading and understanding product specifications - Solving problems and multi-tasking within a busy office environment **Requirements**: - Previous experience in a sales/hire office, customer service or call centre (preferably in the hire industry, but training will be provided) - Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills - Ability to build a rapport with customers, suppliers, and other team members alike - Strong negotiation and persuasion skills - Ability to read and understand product specifications - Problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task - Positive "can-do" attitude - Familiarity with MS Office and basic maths skills to calculate customer quotations About us: Star Platforms is one of the fastest-growing powered access hire companies in the UK, offering excellent career stability and progression prospects.
