This role reports into the European Head of Commercial Partners and dotted line to the Global Visa Direct Risk Lead.
**What’s it all about?**

You will work in close engagement with the Global Visa Direct Risk Lead, Risk Europe team and Europe Regional product teams to support program launches of clients to ensure successful activation and growth in Europe. In addition, you will champion the exchange of Risk and Visa Direct product knowledge between the two organization and share performance education within Europe Risk and Risk Products. Supporting colleagues across Europe Risk and Product in building their knowledge about the unique characteristics of the product/risks, collaborating on responding to new regional risks and driving new requirements for support of Visa Direct in the Visa suite of Risk Products. Key areas of responsibility include: 1) Support of Originating clients during launch 2) Development of tools and collateral to monitor performance and engage with stakeholders and 3) engage with product to ensure new risks are identified and addressed during use case development and program launches.
**What we expect of you, day to day**:

- As a Regional point person for Risk and Visa Direct Product, you will
- Disseminate education and learnings to Risk Managers in countries and sub regions
- Consolidate needs and learnings to communicate to global
- Engage local Risk Managers in support of clients
- You will develop tools and materials to monitor performance and engage with key clients
- Monitor and communicate performance with product stakeholders and clients, with specific focus on strategic client programs within Europe. Advise on best practices to address risk and performance opportunities and work with product and clients to address any issues that may arise. Work in conjunction with the local Commercial Risk Partner and Senior Product Commercial Risk Partner individuals, in regard to communications to the business and clients.
Influence originators to establish best in class fraud prevention practices based on Visa collective learnings
- Engage with issuers’ risk teams to educate and influence fraud prevention and authorization practices
- Build risk storylines, engagement plans and content for product and use cases
- Work with analytics teams to continually improve reporting functionality to drive actionable insights
- Educate Europe partners and product team on product risks and tools, in conjunction with the Senior Product Commercial Risk Partner
- You will engage with product to ensure ecosystem risk is addressed during use case development and program launches
- Review client fraud controls and make recommendations as necessary to strengthen control environment
- Partner to drive risk discussion and education with key Europe client launches
- Engage market Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as necessary to support originator launches
- Develop and maintain risk mitigation best practices and shared learnings
- Drive adoption of secure technologies (3DS, Token)
- Conduct industry research on payment security trends to drive strong performance
