At WYFRS we work to make West Yorkshire safer, with our award-winning communications team playing a key role. As Digital Marketing and Communication Officer, you will use your skills and expertise to help us reach our communities. Whether it’s keeping the public informed during a major incident, working on campaigns or improving our digital channels, you will work with staff from across WYFRS to showcase the amazing work they do.

The role is varied and interesting with the opportunity to make a positive and meaningful contribution to the work of one of the UKs leading Fire and Rescue Services.

You will have proven experience in planning, creating and delivering content across multiple platforms as well as the ability to work as part of a fast paced team. You will be flexible and adaptable with an extensive knowledge of digital media and emerging trends.

We offer flexible working arrangements, including some hybrid working. Whilst you will be required to work from our offices you may have the opportunity to work both in the office and from home as part of our 'hybrid' working model. Therefore, applicants must also have a car available for work purposes with valid business insurance and a reliable home internet connection.
