**Summary**:
The Research Analytics team is responsible for HQ research reporting outputs and analytics across Paramount International linear and non-linear platforms. This covers TV channels, streaming services, social media and third-party data. The role of the Analyticsteam is to provide partners with regular analytics, data-led insights, and business expertise. Partners (brand groups, regional clusters, business lines and HQ) look to the team for analytical insights and expertise relating to performance and trends acrossParamount International’s properties and the markets in which we operate.
In addition, the Analytics team works closely with BI Operations to manage and support all levels of the data flow from source through to report production. The group ensures business reporting is reliable, impartial, and timely.
**The Role**
The Director is responsible for managing International performance data and analytics across multiple platforms, providing analysis and insights to help stakeholders understand performance to make informed and data-led decisions. The role involves managingour key stakeholders, understanding their requirements and business questions and proactively supplying the performance data and analytics to inform their strategic objectives. The Director is a key member of the stakeholder teams and a point of contact formany departments across the business, including senior brand stakeholders, Global Acquisitions, Strategy & Business Development, Programming, Marketing, Consumer Products and Streaming. The person is expected to manage analytics projects in close consultationwith stakeholders, collating and preparing the most relevant analysis in a clear and consistent manner and often presenting to senior management. Additionally, the role manages the Manager and Analyst, ensuring that team members are trained to understand businessrequirements and data processes to proactively support stakeholders.
**Key Requirements**:
- Strong experience of providing research analytics and data to senior stakeholders
- Strong understanding of how to leverage linear, digital, social and streaming data to provide comprehensive cross-platform analysis and guide business decisions.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of linear and non-linear metrics and the wider broadcast/entertainment/streaming industry
- Ability to accurately interpret and translate varied and complex requests into actionable tasks
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and services provided
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Hands-on technical skills, ideally including experience using reporting tools (e.g. Tableau) and industry specific tools (e.g. TechEdge AdvantEdge, ITVR, Abode Analytics, YouTube Analytics, etc.)
- Demonstrate ability to quickly communicate timelines, prioritize, maintain focus, delegate if necessary and deliver results in a timely manner when faced with numerous urgent tasks
- Have excellent attention to detail and ability to monitor and review the quality of work done by self and others to maintain appropriate standards
- Passion for working in the media and entertainment industry
**Additional Requirements**:
- Understand concepts behind Business Intelligence (e.g. - data warehouses, automation) and how information can be used to drive competitive advantage
