**Stores Operative**

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client (based on Centrum 100, Burton-on-Trent) who are the UK’s leading coupling, brake, axle and chassis manufacturer supplying the light trailer market.

We are a looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their busy stores department, you will be part of a busy team supporting the production line ensuring all materials are physically in place where and when required, that all supporting documentation is aligned to the master schedule and that any shortages are replenished and reported in line with department policies and procedures.

**About the role**:

- Working as part of a team under the supervision of the Stores Manager
- Receive Goods in
- Check delivery notes/packing slips to ensure accuracy of delivery
- Record materials/parts
- Liaise with other departments when materials/parts arrive
- Picking & Packing of sales orders
- Arranging goods to be collected via transport portals
- Completing weekly/monthly stock takes as requested
- FLT Counterbalance Licence (Preferred but not essential)
- Previous warehousing/stock control experience beneficial
- Good attention to detail
- Good literacy/numeracy skills
- Good communication skills
- Self-motivated
- Reliable & punctual

**Hours of Work**:

- 38.5 hours per week
- **Monday to Thursday** 07:15 till 16:00 (15-minute break AM, 30-minute lunch break, 15-minute break PM)
- **Friday **07:15 till 12:45 (15-minute break AM)

**Benefits**:

**Salary**: £10.06 per hour

- Burton-On-Trent, DE14 2WF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
- Stock Control: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- FLT Counterbalance (preferred)
