Overview:
We are currently seeking a Refuse/Waste Collector to join our waste management team. The role involves collecting and disposing of refuse from residential and commercial areas. If you are a reliable individual with experience in van driving and possess good communication skills, we would like to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Drive a 7.5 tonne Luton van collection vehicle around designated routes for refuse collection.
- Collect waste from residential and commercial properties.
- Empty refuse containers into the vehicle for transportation to disposal sites.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate collection activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the refuse collection vehicle.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations during waste collection activities.

**Skills**:

- Experience as a van driver or in commercial driving is essential.
- Proficiency in operating flatbed vehicles for refuse collection.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to work efficiently in a warehouse or outdoor environment.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance of the collection vehicle.

Pay: £155.00 per day
