Driver Hire Leeds West is looking for HGV Class 2 / LGV Cat C Drivers to join our waste management and recycling client in Leeds. This is a hands-on, early-start driving role with the chance to secure a permanent position and earn up to £36,000 per year with overtime and bonuses.Whether you have refuse collection experience or are a newly qualified driver , this role offers consistent hours, great pay, and the chance to work as part of a friendly crew.Pay & Benefits As a HGV Class 2 driver, you will receive; Permanent salary: £36,000 per year (including overtime & performance related bonus), based on 48hr week, including overtime, paid after 40hrs. £15.69 per hour (standard rate) £18.94 per hour (overtime rate) PAYE Advanced Rate including Holiday Pay whilst working for Driver Hire Leeds West Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate 22 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays Free on-site parking Ongoing training & career progression opportunitiesJob Duties As a HGV Class 2 driver, your duties will include; Safely drive and operate HGV Class 2 refuse vehicles on daily waste & recycling routes Assist with the loading of waste and recyclable materials (manual handling involved) Transport loads to local disposal and recycling facilities Work closely with loaders and other team members to complete routes on time Follow all Health & Safety and company proceduresRequirements Category C (Class 2 / LGV Cat C) licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card Maximum of 6 points on licence (no major endorsements) Good timekeeping and reliability for early starts Previous experience as a Refuse Driver , Recycling Driver , or in Waste Management is preferred, but not essential New Pass drivers with a great attitude will be considered.Why Work With Us?
