**Job Description: Fundraising Team Leader (Door-to-Door)**

**Position: Fundraising Team Leader**

**Organisation: Gilcore**

**Location: Colchester and surrounding areas.**

**Basic Salary: £25,000 - £27,500 per annum**

**37.5-hour contract.**

**We are seeking an experienced team leader to help manage a door-to-door campaign in Colchester and surrounding areas on behalf of a well-known and respected children’s charity.**

**Responsibilities**:
**Lead and manage a team of door-to-door fundraisers.**

**Provide on the door training and guidance to fundraisers within your team.**

**Report to your Fundraising manager and have weekly meetings to discuss team performance and next steps.**

**Lead by example and actively participate in door-to-door fundraising, demonstrating best practices and maintaining a high level of professionalism and ethical conduct.**

**Provide regular reports on team performance, achievements, and challenges to the management team.**

**Stay updated on the latest developments, trends, and best practices in fundraising, sharing knowledge and implementing new strategies where appropriate.**

**Must be able to Pass a Basic DBS check.**

**Qualifications and Skills**:
**Previous experience in a fundraising role, preferably in a door-to-door capacity.**

**Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.**

**Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with people from various backgrounds.**

**Strong sales and negotiation abilities, with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.**

**Resilience and perseverance in the face of challenges, maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude.**

**Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.**
