**BASIC SALARY**: £80,000 - £100,000

**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Managing Director, General Manager, Operations Director, Plant Manager -Engineering Services, Industrial

As the Managing Director your focus will be on managing our complete UK business. You will be looking to support our facilities and create a safe environment to develop and drive operational excellence whilst ensuring top quality products and services are deliveredto customers on schedule, on time and in budget.

Reporting into the President in the USA, you will have complete oversight of the UK Operations, Sales, QA, Engineering, Customer Service, HR & Finance. You'll be instrumental in driving individual site standards and in some cases uniformity, whilst adaptingto each unique requirement.

In addition, your key tasks will be to:

- Ensure inclusive / empowering leadership of 3 UK sites (2 engineering / manufacturing & 1 Head Office) 40-50.
- Be commercially driven (whilst staying within the business values), and tasked with operating at optimum employee levels, costs, and productivity objectives.
- Work closely with site leads to develop and implement long and short-term objectives.
- Champion the company's culture, safety, sustainability, and employee engagement programs.
- Drive major projects as part of the Global Leadership team

It is most likely you will have:

- The ability to show humility, to listen and learn about the business first. The strength to 'call out' the pros and cons and where changes need to occur
- Worked across multi-site manufacturing environments and technically competent
- Strong commercial awareness
- A track record of building successful teams
- Broad experience as a Managing Director with full P&L and Balance Sheet responsibilities
- A relevant technical qualification (HNC / Degree / MBA) and / or Lean Six Sigma
