A full-time position has become available for an immediate start in a busy Accounts office.

We are seeking a person with qualities that include,
- Strong understanding of the workings of an office
- Strong understanding of book-keeping and reconciliations
- Excellent interpersonal skills - to deal with colleagues of all levels, clients, suppliers and external contact
- Excellent organisational skills, accurate and be able to work with minimum supervision
- Must have experience using Microsoft Excel and Sage
- Must have a keen eye for detail & able to produce accurate work
- Must have experience in a similar role

Role, Duties, and Responsibilities

An Accounts Assistant will be expected to perform, but not limited to any of the following tasks:

- Bank reconciliations for all companies within the group
- Preparing Accounts for month end management accounts
- Manage the Purchase Ledger, working alongside other members of the accounts team
- Aiding with the completion of VAT returns
- Reconciliation of Company credit card statements
- Provide statistical reports and analysis to Directors & Management
- Manage imports/exports between Sage and our bespoke system, spotting and correcting anomalies as they occur
- Assisting with external audits
- Ad-hoc accounts tasks & queries
