An exciting opportunity is available for a Technical Specification Manager to join a multinational manufacturer of building materials with more than 150 years of industry experience. With a presence throughout Europe and influence in parts of Asia and Africa,this is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to join a well-established organisation.

You'll play a critical role in maintaining existing specification client relationships as well as creating new business demand. Working closely with the Area Sales Managers, you'll be generating full pitched roofing specification solutions and planning theprocurement route to deliver the project for their clients.

The organisation is looking for a highly motivated individual who can thrive in a team-oriented environment as well as having the ability to work autonomously when required. You'll also need to possess an understanding of roofing and be keen to develop yourexisting skill set.

**Key responsibilities as a Technical Specification Manager include**:

- Undertake on site surveys and where appropriate condition reports to enable preparation of Specmaster Specification
- Focus is on full system specification on refurbishment and new build schemes
- Deliver the targets and objectives set by the Divisional Sales Manager showing initiative to create effective delivery plans. Monitor through use of SAP Analytic reports
- Provide input to your area's sales strategy, aligned with wider business needs
- Develop effective working relationships with area account managers to ensure sales activities are aligned to business needs.
- Provide & present CPD presentations to target customers and potential clients

**Skills and experience needed for this Technical Specification Manager role**:

- Experience of specifications management
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings
- Local market knowledge and the ability to leverage this in strategic thinking
- Able to undertake surveys and progress specifications on full roofing systems
- PC Literate - to include Google G Suite / Microsoft Office
- Excellent presentation skills
- Full Clean Driving Licence
