As Senior Asset Management Consultant you will be part of our entrepreneurial and growing team which provides industry-leading, award-winning consulting services. You will work with our clients helping them to harness opportunities, including digital to tackle their complex challenges. You will do this by bringing together the best of our asset management and engineering domain knowledge and digital know how.

What you will contribute to the team;
- Day to day you will lead the delivery of advisory projects, helping to manage concurrent priorities across the team.
- You'll be part of a team and manage a direct and more junior staff, whilst providing both leadership and technical guidance.
- Provide end to end trusted advice support to our clients, including in areas such as: asset management investment planning, asset management strategies, risk management, information management, reliability centre maintenance, data analytics.
- You will play a vital role in growing the business and creating opportunity.
- You will bring an established network of contacts to the role that will help foster growth of the business, whilst also keeping abreast of industry best practice.
- We want you to be a proactive participant in the asset management market. It's important that you take every opportunity to enhance the Mott MacDonald brand and highlight our capabilities.
- We also want you to help develop our people capacity and capability within the team, giving them the guidance, mentoring and support needed to be become high performing consultants, and also help grow our talented pool of resources.

Required for the position of Senior Asset Management Consultant;
- A proven track record in asset management operating in [Rail/ Highway] industry and passionate about providing quality service to clients.
- A demonstrable passion for delivering asset management excellence.
- Track record in successful project delivery, or significant elements of major project delivery and familiarity with the principles of lean and agile working are also important.
- Strong analytical and leadership skills, be comfortable working with disruptive technologies and at times challenge current practice.

Preferred, but not required
- Relevant delivery experience in an asset management or closely related consulting environment role, such as management consultancy
- Good technical knowledge of a range of Asset Management capabilities. Strong know how of tools and techniques
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture and data skills will be of benefit
- Experience of developing asset management capabilities within organisation and maturing the organisation approach to asset management
- Institute of Asset Management diploma is desirable
- Recent experience in [Rail / Highway] sector is desirable although experience in other sectors will be an added advantage and ideally strategy -focused and/ or operational roles
- Strong delivery skills and project management experience
- Eagerness to develop new skills and to further expand the knowledge within different areas of asset management
- Ability to lead projects and manage a team of consultants
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop tailored solutions
- Confident to work autonomously
- Strong team player, and able to work effectively and inclusively with remote teams.
- Ability to work in a fluid, unstructured environment with a can-do, positive and pro-active attitude and seeing things through to the end.
- Willingness to support and ultimately own client relationships
- Be an excellent team player focused on achieving our vision.
