**Your Impact**: About the opportunity**

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Consultant to join our Intelligent Asset Management & Assurance team, working closely with our clients to understand their issues and support innovative, value adding solutions. This may include the development of strategies and tools to enable our clients to make the right investment and intervention decisions over the entire asset life cycle. You will be joining a team of expert consultants, embracing our relationship-based sales ethos whilst being an excellent role model for your colleagues.

This is primarily an office-based role, but we also provide the flexibility to work from home, business needs permitting. The role can be based at any Jacobs UK office, however flexibility to travel to our clients and work overseas on short consultancy assignments from time to time may be required.

**About the team**

Our Intelligent Asset Management & Assurance team works with our clients to help them realise value from their assets. Working at all levels of client organisations across multiple sectors and industries; we act as a critical friend providing strategic thinking and practical, resilient, and assured solutions that deliver whole life value. By combining traditional consultancy skills with data driven solutions we increase our clients understanding of their asset base, helping them to work smarter and realise tangible benefits.

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:
To thrive in this role, you’ll be self-motivated and willing to challenge established practice. Excellent oral and written communication skills are key, along with the ability to collaborate as a team, and across strategic consulting. You’ll have:

- A degree in a relevant engineering, Science, Mathematics and/or Asset/Information Management discipline (or comparable performance, knowledge and expertise)
- Previous experience in the infrastructure sector, multiple market sectors would be advantageous
- Up to date knowledge of techniques, best practices and statutory requirements
- Ability to form relationships and develop industry connectivity
- Good breadth of knowledge and experience across the full scope of Asset Management (stakeholders, strategy, plans, lifecycle management, people, asset information, risk and review)
- Positive/effective relationships with clients and co-workers and demonstrates focus on satisfying both internal and external customers
- Ability to facilitate small group workshops
- Experience in the definition, development and implementation of an Asset Management System (such as ISO 55001) is not essential but would be desirable
