**Compliance Business Manager**
**Glasgow**
As a Barclays Compliance Business Manager, you will be part of the Chief Operating Office (COO) team within the wider Compliance Function Services team. You will provide assistance to all key stakeholders across principle Chief Operating Office responsibilities. Working in our fantastic new Glasgow Campus you will be responsible for supporting senior members of the Compliance COO Management team, as well as advising Compliance teams on their progress against COO activities e.g. Resourcing, Financials and Headcount.

**Hybrid Working**
We are currently operating in a hybrid working environment, meaning that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Supporting the delivery of group-wide projects across Technology, People, Service Management and Financials
- Assisting the Compliance function to ensure adherence to the Barclays Control Framework Standards
- Supporting the generation of regular Management Information (MI), as and when required
- Presenting progress and findings to the Compliance COO Leadership team whilst being able to articulate challenges faced and proposing solutions
- Operating as a culture carrier for the Function and the COO team in this highly visible role which provides exposure to many senior stakeholders
- Investigating and supporting ad-hoc queries on behalf of colleagues both within and external to the department
- Contributing to the delivery of Group or Function-wide programmes such as organisational redesign

**What we’re looking for**:

- Accounting experience (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent etc.) would be advantageous
- You will be “tech savvy”, interested by the opportunities technology provides for quality, efficiency, automation and accuracy
- The ability to critically analyse data including the identification of trends, themes and unusual outliers

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Business analysis skills to enable requirements capture and interpretation including process mapping and process design
- Demonstrable proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Effective presentation skills to both a junior and senior audience
- Understanding of the Project management lifecycle and experience in a business management role
