**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility support.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
- Supervise and mentor junior care staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of residents' progress and any changes in their condition.
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Promote a safe and clean environment within the care home by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in senior care, IT systems, and leadership practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in senior care or a similar role is essential.
- Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with residents and their families.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience supervising staff preferred.
- A valid driving licence may be beneficial for community outings or appointments.
- Familiarity with IT systems related to care management is an advantage.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to improve the lives of seniors in your care.
