Advantage Resourcing are currently on the hunt to find a Test Assurance Analyst to work In Manchester on a full-time permanent basis. The Test Assurance and Governance practice sits within the Service Delivery function which is responsible for managing end-to-enddelivery through a structured governance process, on time, within budget and to the required standards for successful in-life operations.
The Test Assurance and Governance function practice is responsible for assuring and governing the significant technical testing undertaken by our Service Providers across the business ecosystem, up to the point of delivery to the User Testing and Live environments.
Key Accountabilities:
*Support DCC's engagement with its Service Providers on system testing matters.
*Review assigned aspects of system testing being undertaken by the Service Providers.
*Analysis of test evidence to confirm that established criteria have been or identify the discrepancies.
*Timely escalation of issues to the Test Assurance Services Manager and Test Leads (as appropriate).
*Production of high-quality Test Artefacts and test progress reports.
*Presentation of reports to DCC stakeholders and Test governance forums.
Person Spec
Skills and Experiences Essential:
*A test professional with 5 years' relevant testing experience.
*Keenness and ability to rapidly understand complex functionality and architectures.
*Understanding of testing standards and processes, and how these can be applied to a service provider.
*Completion of witnessing tests and inspecting test results.
*Strong analytical skills: able to identify exceptions to the agreed test approach, propose alternative solutions and appropriate responses.
*Strong communications skills: written and verbal with good presentation and persuasion skills, able to present technical issues to a non-technical group.
*Approachable, with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working.
