IN SHORT

As a Test Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans and cases to ensure software applications meet quality standards. You will work closely with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver defect-free software.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to develop detailed test plans and test cases.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases for functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Identify, document, and track defects and work with developers to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Maintain test environments and data to support testing activities.
  • Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies.
  • Provide clear and concise test reports and status updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
  • Continuously improve test processes and methodologies.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

  • Proven experience as a Test Analyst or similar role in software testing.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing life cycle (STLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Experience writing and executing detailed test cases.
  • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., ADO, JIRA, TestRail, Quality Center).
  • Understanding of SDLC and Agile development processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
