A leading UK firm of accountants and business advisors is looking for an Early Talent Manager to join them.
Working closely with the heads of L&D and HR, you will help deliver a strategic proposition to attract and recruit early talent into the firm whilst supporting them in their learning and development journey.
As part of the early talent strategy, you will:
*Work to with heads of L&D and HR to develop and execute an Early Talent Attraction strategy
*Develop and execute a coherent social mobility and D&I strategy for Early Talent population
*Assist HR team with Early Trainee Reward strategy and lead on Early Talent market benchmarking
As Early Talent Manager your responsibilities will be to:
Recruitment:
*Oversee the recruitment process for all those on early talent pathways
*Organise and attend Early Talent attraction events to raise the profile of the firm
*Oversee the design and overall delivery of the assessment centre
*Develop and oversee a structured internship programme
*Oversee and authorise the preparation and issue of appropriate contractual documentation in relation to appointments, terminations, and variations of employment
*Oversee the salary review and promotion process for the Early Talent population
*Coach leaders in relation to performance management issues
Learning and Development:
*Own, prepare and facilitate Early Talent induction and integration activities
*Own the L&D journey for trainees including overseeing the training cycle for trainees and sourcing training providers
*Create structured pathways for ACA to CTA dual qualifications and ACCA
*Oversee the relationship with training providers e.g. registration of trainees, course bookings, exam bookings, progress monitoring (administration conducted by Senior Administrator).
*Oversee and track the trainee training budget
*Work with the Head of L&D to identify and measure the ROI of trainee L&D
Working within a small but growing team, you will also be responsible for managing the Early Talent Team and representing the team within the people team management group.
This role will suit an existing Early Talent Manager, with a proven track record or attracting and developing top early talent, within professional services. You will be a people person, and excellent at building relationships with people at all level - fromtrainees to leadership.
As an Early Talent Manager, you will:
*Have previous experience as an Early Talent Manager from a professional services background
*Have a proven track record of attracting and developing early talent
*Have an awareness of the latest People and Early Talent trends
*Effectively challenge and influence leaders to ensure the right decisions are made
*Be a critical thinker, able to spot opportunities to improve processes to drive better results
*Be extremely people focused with and strong interest in all things People related
