**Full time: 35 hours/week**
**The Opportunity**:
The role holder will be a key person in a student’s experience of the University and will be professional and approachable working as part of a wider team using your expert knowledge to support academic teaching staff with the delivery of the exciting range of programmes and courses that ECA offer.
**Your skills and attributes for success**:
- Educated to at least N/SVQ 3 or equivalent level, plus typically at least 2 years’ relevant administrative work experience
- Good organisational skills: ability to exercise judgement to work without direct supervision and prioritise own work within the annual academic cycle that has periods of very high demand.
- Good administrative skills: ability to master quickly new systems and processes and to sustain a high performance whilst under pressure.
- Good IT literacy and experience: able to find, use, collate and share information via databases or other systems such as virtual learning environments (BlackBoard Learn), intranet etc.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to form and sustain excellent working relationships.
- Problem solver - ability to take initiative to enhance service/ minimise impact of problems and introduce good long term solutions.

The College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences is a large and diverse part of the University.
