Production Operative

Liv’s Kitchen is one of London’s leading producers of the freshest and most flavourful ingredients that serve as key components in some of the most delectable dishes across the food industry. From the compote in your granola pot to the pesto in your pasta salad, Liv’s Kitchen provides a wide variety of chilled sauces and condiments to manufacturers, restaurant chains, and large-scale events across the country. We are a small, close-knit team who are passionate about elevating our customers’ culinary experience as much as possible, and are searching for another like-minded foodie to support with our growing demand
**The Role**
Liv’s Kitchen are looking for a capable and experienced Production Operative to support the Production Team, ensuring that all customer orders are executed to the highest level of food production, and food safety standards. They will be responsible for the manufacturing, labelling and packing of products, as well as performing quality checks to ensure the consistently high quality of goods and services.
Full training of Liv’s Kitchen’s systems, policies, and procedures will be provided.
The key responsibilities of a Production Operative include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing ingredients and supporting the manufacturing of our range of products
- Labelling and packing finished products
- Complying with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Coordinating the movement of goods in and out of the site
- Undertaking quality and control checks throughout the production process (metal detection, validation etc)
- Any other duties as required
**The Person**
The key skills and qualities of a Production Operative include, but are not limited to:
- Passionate about food Previous experience in food manufacturing is highly desirable but not essential as training will be provided
- A team player with a flexible attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A quick-learner who can adapt to changing demands
- Physically fit and can lift moderate weight
- A good understanding of the English language
- A keen eye for detail, with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy whilst working under pressure
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
**Experience**:
- Food production: 1 year (preferred)
