**Job Title**: SEN Teaching Assistant

**Location**: North Lancaster, SEN School

**Start Date**: ASAP

**Hours**: 8:45 AM - 3:45 PM, Monday - Friday

**Pay Rate**: £13.20 - £15.00 per hour Ltd

**Role Overview**:Romano Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a SEN school in North Lancaster. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing one-on-one or small group support to students with various SEN requirements. You will assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide individualised support to students with SEN to help them access the curriculum.
- Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Support students with personal care and mobility, if required.
- Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Monitor and record students' progress and behaviour.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the specific needs of each student.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a SEN environment is highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for helping students with SEN reach their full potential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic classroom setting.
- A relevant qualification in education or SEN support is a plus.
