Head of Estates and Facilities

Venn Group is currently working with a Further Education institution who are currently looking for a Head of Estates and Facilities to oversee the day to day running of the Estates & Facilities department.

**Salary**: £45,000 - £55,000

Location: Surrey

Hours: 37.5 hours a week

Day to day duties include:

- Ensure the provision of an effective facilities and estate management service for the College to include security, caretaking, catering, health and safety and reprographicsManage effective College services through external contracts including estates management, cleaning and cateringEnsure effective management of Estates budget, demonstrating value for moneyManage Estates capital projectsImplement, in association with the appointed Facilities Management Contractor, a planned preventative maintenance programme and monitor its’s effectivenessDeliver full compliance with all relevant current statutory obligations regarding Health and Safety and building regulations to ensure safe environment for students, staff and visitors through cost effective reactive maintenance as appropriate
- Previously worked within a similar settingAn in depth knowledge of Health and Safety regulationsHands on experience of project management, contract, security and site managementExperience of managing budgets and leading estates teamsRelevant Health and Safety qualifications, such as NEBOSH, IOSH or COSHH
