**Compliance Monitoring Specialist**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance professional to join a growing team. This is a great role for someone who can bring their previous experience and passion to help us to succeed.

An integral role working within the Isle of Man Compliance team to assist with ensuring compliance within the regulatory environment including anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism, through the Compliance monitoring and assurance work, and by performing a range of Compliance related tasks within agreed timeframes, to support the bank and Compliance function and ensure client service excellence is delivered to internal and external stakeholders and clients.

**Role specific details**
- Work with the Senior Compliance Monitoring & Assurance Specialist and Heads of Compliance to identify, scope and review agreed test areas across the business in IOM, Jersey and UK.
- Conduct Compliance Monitoring reviews of the NPWL business in accordance with the Compliance Monitoring Programme in a timely manner.
- Prepare scope documents for testing in line with the Compliance Monitoring Methodology.
- Ensure that each test is properly documented and ensure accurate storage of evidence/supporting documentation.
- Prepare draft reports following testing and agree action points, owners and timelines with the relevant business areas and stakeholders.
- Communicate with Relationship Managers, and any other relevant internal parties as part of the Compliance Monitoring Assurance work.
- Legislation and Regulation - Keep abreast of and review relevant changes in Isle of Man compliance regulation and laws.
- Compliance Policies & Procedures - Contribute to ensuring that Isle of Man compliance procedures are written, approved and maintained.
- Undertake other Compliance administration tasks and provide cover within the wider team as required.

**Technical Skills and Experience**
- Experience in Compliance monitoring and assurance work.
- Experience in Compliance requirements, including but not limited to, AML CDD / EDD for high-net-worth individuals and more complex financial structures such as trusts, corporate and foundations across multiple jurisdictions worldwide including emerging markets.
- An understanding of regulatory framework in IOM, JSY and UK.
- Good knowledge and understanding of IOM FSA, JFSC, FCA and PRA requirements.
- Knowledge of Operations, banking and investment administration activities, both technical and operational.
- Experience of working in a monitoring environment, developing and delivering robust risk framework.

- Adaptable and flexible in order to cope with the ever-changing demands of the regulatory environment
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral) with all levels of staff

- A professional qualification such as MICA or similar is desirable
