Band 4 Research Administrator - Fixed Term for 2 years
We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic and friendly administrator to join the renal and respiratory research teams.
The post will be part of a high-performing research team (either Respiratory or Renal) and will provide administrative, financial and invoice management support.
This role will offer an opportunity to develop administrative and finance skills through supported, hands on experience but also ongoing training in finance management and research processes.
Whilst a previous financial role is not essential, the post-holder must be able to produce and manage excel spreadsheets and use financial invoicing systems to ensure accurate and timely payments. Training and support will be provided by a current finance administrator.
We are looking for someone with good generic administrative skills to support the research delivery teams and liaise with external organisations. Effective written and interpersonal communication is essential due to the nature of the role.
