Part-time Sales Assistant 30 Hours

We are looking for a part-time Sales Assistant to join our team in our premium childrenswear store in Westfield, White City. You will be responsible for fulfilling daily operations of our store and achieve your sales targets while maintaining our operational and organisational standards. Your duties will include maintaining an excellent level of customer service, increase sales, monitor inventory levels and fulfill the tasks given by your Store Manager.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Have thorough knowledge of the product mix in the store.
- Meet sales targets.
- Provide a high standard of customer service at all times and build clientele.
- Understand the needs of the customers and take proper actions to fulfill them.
- Be able to use POS system properly and complete sales in a timely and correct manner.
- Ensure products are displayed in a proper way.
- Receive, count and place new stock.
- Ensure in-store and window displays are in order and sustain a tidy and clean store environment.
- Handle returns and refunds.
- Receive phone calls.
- Monitor price tags to ensure the right pricing is applied in the store.
- Assist Store Manager in stock control and security.
- Handle customer complaints and report to Store Manager when necessary.
- Have an awareness of current campaigns and new product launches and inform customers about them.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Previous sales experience in a retail environment is a must.
- Excellent commercial awareness and customer service abilities.
- Sales driven
- A real eye for detail
- Have a positive attitude and take responsibility when needed.
- Be a good team player.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have strong organisational skills.
- 1st aid at work qualification is a plus.
- Second language is a plus.
- Experience in children’s fashion retail is a plus.
