Are you looking to gain vast experience in working with complex learning disabilities? Are you interested in supporting children with Special Needs?
The school steps away from the more traditional approach of lesson structure, undertaking a more therapeutic approach, enabling the children to gain outside experiences. Prior relevant experience would be highly beneficial.

For recent graduates, this is a fabulous opportunity to gain extensive experience and work alongside a school based psychologist and therapist, through shadowing sessions and being mentored throughout. This is a great opportunity for an aspiring SEN teacher,educational psychologist or support worker. A positive, enthusiastic individual who is able to bring prior knowledge and experience to the classroom is exactly what this school is looking for. The children at such school require a supportive teaching assistantwho is open-minded and is able to adapt to different situations. With SEN widely varying, the children have many different needs, which should always be a priority. Suitable experience from working with either SEN children or adults is greatly beneficial.A minimum of Level 3 qualifications or equivalent is required, with a degree being most desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
