Due to our successful growth, we are seeking full-time & part-time Home Care Assistants in Bristol. This job involves visiting adults in their own homes, so **you must have a full driving licence and access a vehicle.**

Experience is not essential because, as part of the induction process, you will receive three days of **paid** training & shadowing so you can have training in the office and at customers' homes.

**What we offer our Home Care Assistants.**
- £11.00-£12.00 per hour plus an enhanced-on bank holiday.
- Paid mileage for travel between clients' homes, +£10.25 per hour travel time.

**Hour of work.**
- We need all Care Assistants & Companions to work a mix of hours, including early morning, early evenings, and alternate weekends.
- Shift times are 7-3 and 3,4, or 5 pm until 10. We ask for 2 evenings a week plus alt weekends
- Part-time position
- you must be able to commit to a minimum of 16-hours per week
- Full-Time hours are 40 hours per week (5x8-hours shifts per week).

**Job description and responsibilities**
- Support to get up and ready for the day ahead or ready for bed in the evening.
- Prepare a bath/shower to the right temperature and assist with bathing when required.
- Assist with dressing, undressing, and all elements of personal care.
- Prepare medication and remind/assist with administration.
- Meal/snack/drinks preparation.
- Enable the client to make their own decisions so they can be as independent as possible.
- Provide Social and physical activities or mental stimulation such as keeping in touch with friends/relatives, taking the client out shopping or to social activities, hobbies such as reading, photo albums, games, etc.
