**Head of Operations**
As the Head of Operations for Compass Group, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the operational excellence of our catering services. You will play a pivotal role in leading a talented team, ensuring smooth service delivery, maintaining client satisfaction, and contributing to the growth and success of our business. You will manage client and contractual relationships in a commercial manner ensuring compliance and company policies are adhered to. Review business performance and ensure delivery of key financial targets in line with management and performance reporting. Demonstrate commercial values and overall business strategy.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of managers and staff to deliver exceptional catering services.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards to ensure the highest levels of service and food quality.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and drive profitability through effective resource allocation and financial planning.
- Identify areas for improvement and drive process enhancements to optimize efficiency and service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and implement innovative solutions to enhance the overall catering experience.
- Plan and implement the strategy of growth and retention of new and existing business in each sector through leading the development of long-term account plans.
- Review unit and contract performance, identify improvements and ensure contract compliance to exceed client expectations.
- Provide operational insight alongside strategic marketing plans to grow sales and deliver customer satisfaction.

**Who you are**:

- A minimum of 5 years operational experience in senior leadership roles within the catering or foodservice industry.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience of managing complex and multiple stakeholder relationship
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Knowledge of food safety and regulatory compliance.
- Developed and led an implementation of change programme to deliver operational benefits
