**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Maintenance Expertise**:

- Independently perform maintenance tasks (listed in qualifications and skills section).

2. **On-Site Inspections**:

- Travel to various Guest Homes management properties to conduct thorough inspections of facilities, equipment, and systems.
- Identify and assess maintenance issues, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

3. **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain detailed records of inspections, findings, and actions taken.
- Make suggestions for improvement at properties for the customer service team to provide feedback to landlords.

**4. Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the office team at Guest Homes, contractors, and vendors to coordinate maintenance efforts.
- Communicate effectively to ensure a smooth workflow and timely issue resolution.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven experience in property maintenance roles. We are looking for someone with skills and knowledge of painting, plumbing, plastering, electrics, building flat pack furniture and other general handyperson activities.
- Ability to independently perform maintenance tasks.
- Strong motivation to ensure proactivity.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying potential issues.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage a dynamic travel schedule.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

**Education and Experience**:

- Relevant certifications or training in maintenance.
- Previous experience in a similar on-the-road role is advantageous.
- If you have qualifications in any of the mentioned skills this would be desirable. However, we are happy to provide training.

- Flexible working - overtime will be required however will be compensated. Normal working hours are Monday-Friday between the hours of 08:00-18:00.

Travel will be required to attend properties, the majority of which are throughout Worcester and within a 40 miles radius. However, on occasion, there will be a requirement to travel throughout the UK. Some overnight stays may be required.
