Finance Assistant

To support out continued growth we are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to support our finance team.

The main responsibility of the Finance Assistant is to support the management Accountant with business accounting activities.

They will assist with basic administration tasks and should be on hand to answer any queries raised by staff or external clients or providers. They will be expected to help document and maintain the business’ finance procedures, updating and implementing them wherever necessary.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Purchase Ledger**
- Assist Purchase Ledger Manager in invoice processing
- Help in processing expense requests and AMEX expenses, including collecting receipts from claimants
- Reconciliating the Purchase Ledger
- Set up new Vendor accounts

**Sales Ledger**
- Liaising and supporting the Sales Ledger Manager in the billing of sales invoices
- Assisting the Credit Controller when needed
- Maintaining the Sales Ledgers/Sales Sheet

**Job Profitability**
- Setting up job numbers within Agresso
- Maintaining the job - inputting the budget breakdown to update billable rate cards
- Chasing outstanding timesheet submissions,
- Pulling time reports, run utilisation reports and preparing data for analysis for Management Accountant in preparation for discussions with Account Directors

**Job Reconciliation**
- Pulling WIP reports and distributing to Client Service teams
- Job reconciliation by matching the provisions to actual out of pocket expenses incurred and closing the jobs when projects are completed

**Month End**
- Intercompany recharges
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Assist Management Accountant in journal preparations
- Data analysis on some overhead expense accounts

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
