As part of our growth plans for 2025, we are looking to employ a motivated Commercial Sales Assistant to support the front desk function across both our Yorkshire Lounge & 1432 Runway Lounge, to ensure guests have stress-free, memorable airport experience.
this is a temporary contract working until October 31st.
Hours: 28 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off rotational basis

Main Responsibilities:
- To greet guests in the Lounges
- Manage the check in process for Lounges
- Act as ‘gatekeepers’ and control lounge entries to ensure that Lounges are operating at high but manageable levels of capacity
- Direct all customer issues/queries/requests for lounge products and service information promptly & efficiently to the Lounge operator
- Maximise Lounge entries to pre-defined targets and minimise Lounge ‘turn always’ to ensure maximum Lounge footfall.
- Execute Lounge upsells for all guests.
- The management of sales activity for Lounges within the terminal building i.e selling Lounge entries to customers in the terminal
- Cash Management
- Daily Reporting
- Liaise effectively with our third party operator of Lounges.
- Build & retain client relationships
Person Specification:
- Proven experience of working within a people facing role
- Commercial acumen
- Understanding and success of working towards defined targets and KPI’s
- Ability to work with a ‘One Team’ mentality and be a true ambassador of LBA
- Desire to ‘Be the Best’ and demonstrate excellent customer service skill
- Driven to always ‘Do The Right Thing’ and provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Eligibility criteria:
You will also be required to pass through a range of referencing and vetting checks, including a Criminal Record Check and Counter Terrorism Check. You must also have lived in the UK for at least 5 years with a 5-year work history, or in education.
