**We know that flexibility is important to our customers and colleagues, that’s why we’re offering hybrid Customer Service roles in a variety of work locations and shift patterns.**

**We are currently recruiting for Customer Service colleagues with a starting package of £21,200, this is made up of a base salary of £19,500, up to £1,200 discretionary performance related bonus, plus £500 flexible benefits allowance.**

You’ll use your natural warmth, energy and personality to help as many customers as you can each day. We'll help you to develop the skills needed to build strong customer relationships, take ownership and deliver that great customer experience.

Along with representing Santander to our customers, you’ll have a voice within the organisation too. As the first point of contact, you’ll get to know our customers better than anyone else. So, if you have an idea about how we can improve their experience or better ways of working, we’re all ears

**The difference you’ll make**
- Helping customers each day by answering customer queries online via webchat
- Assisting customers with day-to-day transactions and enquiries
- Helping to keep our customers and the bank safe
- Solving problems and escalating issues when necessary
- Updating customer records

**What you will bring**
- Exceptional listening and communication skills with the ability to show empathy in a customer situation
- Experience of working within a customer services role, previous telephony experience not essential

**It would also be nice for you to have**
- Strong teamwork with a high level of motivation
- Ability to follow process but also think on your feet
- Problem solving skills (real solutions, not just short-term fixes)

**What else you need to know.**
- This is a full-time role working 35 hours
- That means you’ll work 5 days across Mon to Sun between 08:00 to 20:00 on a rotational shift pattern basis. For your continued flexibility you will receive a £1,000 fully flexible shift premium for this fully flex shift pattern.
