**Sales/Supply Administrator - Chemicals**

**Basingstoke**

**Up to £28k**

Our client is a chemical manufacturing and export business based in Basingstoke. As they are growing, they are working with us to source an experienced technical sales support administrator to join their customer service, sales support and order processingteam.

The purpose of the role is to deal with incoming sales and technical queries from a global client base, supply quotations for chemicals, follow up on quotations, deal with shipping and transport companies to secure quotations and book delivery dates, alsoto complete purchase orders, raise invoices and to manage and oversee the entire sales order process from enquiry to delivery.

The role will include the following responsibilities:
To support the Commercial Supply Chain Manager to source and purchase the raw materials required to ensure that we are able to manufacture our lithium-based products and our range of speciality chemicals whilst utilising the best delivery terms for the benefitof the company.

To manage relationships with customers, shipping and transport companies to ensure cost effective and timely delivery of products to the customer

To support the sales operation by ensuring close working relationships with Finance, Production and distribution. Providing a collaborative environment to drive the business is essential to continued growth.

It is a detail conscious admin and processing role for someone who is well educated, ideally with a chemical A level or degree, with experience in a similar role.
- Well educated to degree or A level in Chemistry or physics ( ideal not essential)
- Good on the phone with great customer service skills
- Able to prove that they have the ability to build good business relationships both internal and external
- Detail conscious and able to work to deadlines
- IT literate with good MS Office skills particularly Excel.
- Competen/comfortable working with numbers and chemical formulas
- Experienced in a similar role
- Familiar with export shipping and freight
- Willing to be in a position of ongoing learning and development

**This role is permanent full time Monday to Friday role. 8.30 -5.00 Monday to Thursday and 8.30 till 4 on a Friday.**
