Exeter Aerospace has an immediate requirement for a Finance Executive. Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer in Dublin, the Finance Executive, based in Exeter, will be responsible for the local Finance Function and the service provided to internal and external stake holders at Exeter Aerospace.

The ideal individual, should be open-minded, have the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with the ability to work as a team member or independently dependent on the task. In addition, we are seeking an individual who is a strong, self-motivated person to support our team in Exeter Aerospace. The role will comprise of everything from accounting operations, payroll oversight to business decision support/modelling and customer invoicing.

The Finance Executive is responsible to the Chief Finance Officer for the following functions:

- Month End Process
- Liaise with the Finance Team to provide a timely and accurate set of accounts for review,
- Analyse key variances and provide findings to Senior Management for review,
- Prepare financial papers for inclusion in monthly/quarterly Board reports.

Internal Processes
- Reviewing with internal Controls, updating where applicable and ensuring compliance,
- Review and Document current Accounting Process-ensure compliance with Accounting Standards and current tax legislation,
- Liaison with Senior Management, providing Financial Support where applicable.

Other Duties
- Financial Analysis
- Ongoing projects,
- Budgets/Forecasts
- Annual audit,
- Ensuring UK Tax Compliance,
- Other duties as directed from time to time by the Chief Financial Officer.

A Professional Accounting Qualification is essential, PC literate, good communication skills, the ability to adapt with the changing environment and a strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and current UK Tax Legislation.
