**Project Management Assistant - Inside IR35**

**Contract Term: Three months (possible extension)**

**Contracting Authority: MoD**

**Location: Hybrid Working (up to two days per week on-site, Andover)**

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) is a central government department with a mission to protect our country and provide the ultimate guarantee of its security and independence, as well as helping to protect its values and interests abroad.

**As a Project Management Assistant, your main responsibilities would be**:

- Identify tasks, activities, interdependencies and outputs for the project and work with the project team to track and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support capability building and the use of best practice in planning and reporting.
- Develop and maintain the project plan.
- Contribute towards the development of breakdown structures, quality criteria, product descriptions and monitoring strategy.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure plans are comprehensive.
- Gather information from project teams and stakeholders and produces project performance reports.
- Provide advice on planning processes throughout the lifecycle of the project

**You’ll have relevant experience in**:

- Active SC Clearance
- Defence/Military background
- Stakeholder engagement
- Microsoft Office
