Eurotunnel manages, maintains, and operates the Channel Tunnel Fixed Link Concession between Folkestone and Coquelles, France. Opened on 6 May 1994, the Fixed Link is a rolling motorway which transports passenger and commercial freight vehicles on board Shuttles across the Channel at 140kph, in 35 minutes. It also allows the running of third-party passenger and railfreight trains. The advantages of the Channel Tunnel are security, reliability, speed, frequency, and respect for the environment.

In 2020, thanks to rigorous management and strong commitment from our teams, Getlink delivered a solid operational and financial performance, in an exceptional context marked by the Covid crisis and Brexit.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our UK Security Department. You will be assisting the UK Security Vetting Officer, maintaing the UK company's and Government databases, therefore ensuring they are correct and up-to-date, for all vetting and on-site security pass issuing.

You will be responsible for the administration of all UK Security Vetting with clearances, with the Department for Transport, in the production of Eurotunnel security passes and badges. Resolving issues with Eurotunnel personnal, Contractors, Concessionaires and UK Authorities relating to vetting clearance with the Department for Transport.

Ideally you will be educated to a minimum of GCSE/O Level or equivalent, with previous experience and knowledge of Government departments and a legislative environment.

Experience working in a procedural, regulation, co-ordination and administration function is desirable.

Due to the bi-national environment, the ability to communicate in both English and French would be an advantage.

Holding a valid Driving Licence and Passport is essential.
