Head Receptionist

**We have a fantastic opportunity for a Head Receptionist to join our team here at Highcroft Vet Group, Longwell Green**

As a Head Receptionist, you will provide a friendly and efficient service to our clients and their animals. We are a professional and personable team working in a very challenging and busy environment, which makes the role varied, interesting and no day is ever the same

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication and organisational skills as well as strong leadership skills. Experience managing teams will be highly beneficial. Previous receptionist or customer facing experience is essential. Previous veterinary industry experience would also be highly beneficial.

You will need to have the ability to remain calm under pressure and also show empathy in each situation you encounter, from sharing the excitement of a puppy's first visit to the vets or comforting a client who has received some bad news.

As one of our receptionist you will have access to our Client Care Hub. This is a dedicate space on our Knowledge Hub for all client care resources. You will be invited to join a support session within your first few weeks of being in the business, where you will meet a Learning Partner and begin your training journey. You can then join further session(s) at any point in the next six months to ask any questions you may have regarding your training. This training is alongside the training your will receive in practice.

The starting salary for this position will be from £22,000 depending on experience (pro rata).
