To support their continued growth, our client requires a HR Advisor to support the Head of HR in achieving the company’s recruitment, employee development objectives and professionally delivering general HR services. The employee journey is key in ensuring,from recruitment, high levels of engagement and performance across all business functions.
**Duties (to include but are not limited too)**:
- Monitoring key HR metrics such as turnover and retention rates
- Raise new joiner paperwork (offer letters and employment contracts )
- Providing advice and main point of contact for general HR queries
- Using HR information systems to access, input and compile data
- Identifying, with Head of HR, development needs
- Manage HR platforms to improve day-to-day operations
- Managing stakeholder relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing their expectations
- Support the Head of HR with the review of current HR practices, researching and recommending new and improved processes including performance evaluation methods (e.g. Personal Development Plans, employee appraisal systems)
- Support the Head of HR in monitoring, reviewing and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation
- Supporting the Head of HR in managing employee relations (capability, investigations, including grievance and disciplinary)
- Driving the business performance in relation to the organisation’s objectives
**Person Specification**:
- Part or fully qualified CIPD Level 5 or higher
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an HR Advisor or equivalent
- An enthusiastic team player with a 'Can Do’ approach and resilient attitude
- Confident, outgoing and highly organised, with drive, initiative and enthusiasm
- A willingness to learn, work hard, contribute to the team and develop new skills
- Confidentiality and discretion are essential
- Ideally from a professional service-related environment
- Able to influence whilst instilling trustworthiness
