Are you looking for a **permanent, part-time job? **Perfect **That's exactly what we offer** To support our team at the **a&o Hostel Brighton** we are** looking for YOU** A hardworking and independent **Student** (M/F/x) for our housekeeping, reception and restaurant service**. We are looking for enrolled students, working students, temporary student workers, university students and technical college students who enjoy a part-time job in the hostel. **YOUR JOB**: As allround employee, you are really an all-rounder: you work flexibly in different shifts like reception, breakfast, restaurant, bar and general service, and filling in for those services is not a problem for you. The housekeeping area will be your primary field of responsibility - this means: - Cleaning guest rooms during their stay with us - Cleaning and preparation of guest rooms after check out for new arrivals - Maintaining the clean and tidy appearance of our public spaces During reception-shifts, you are responsible for: - You will be responsible for the Check-In and Check-Out of our guests behind the reception desk or in the lobby as a guest relation officer - To ensure all our guests enjoy their stay at a&o, you will cater to their needs and answer their questions - At the bar your job is to serve hot and cold drinks and snacks, as well as to prepare cocktails During restaurant-shifts, you are responsible for: - The timely preparation of breakfast-, lunch - or dinner-buffet - Ensuring that our guest are satisfied and that hygiene-standards are always kept **YOUR PROFILE**: - The interaction in our guests is fun for you, you like to be a host - Independent way of working; high commitment and teamwork - You know your city well and know how to give our guests cool tips - You love interacting with our guests, no matter the time of day or night - ** Good knowledge of English** **OUR OFFER**: - **Salary: 11,44GBP/hour** - ** 75% discount on private overnight stays in all a&o hostels**: - ** Flexible shift schedulin**g according to your availability - attractive corporate benefits such as discounted leisure activities and events - subsidized language courses - support for your further education in the form of various trainings - ** Mental Health**:We offer you free and anonymous mental health coaching from our independent partner “Likeminded”, who will support you with professional, private and health-related challenges - We work in **jeans and a&o polo shi**rt **instead of stiff suits or uniforms - Of course we provide **drinks, fruit and vegetables** on a daily basis - and as hostel staff you can join your team for the warm meals served at the buffet Suzie Taylor General Manager
